OVERVIEW
In 1992,BACKSTAGE DANCE STUDIO II opened by popular request , offering the youth of Las Vegas the same caliber of instruction that adult professionals had been receiving now for over 38 years at the original BACKSTAGE. Our instructors are past or present adult working dancers and local, national, and international choreographers. This brings a wealth of solid training from distinguished ballet and modern companies, theatre, TV, film, and the fabulous Las Vegas stage. Our instructors are dedicated to giving support and encouragement to every student whether they plan on becoming a professional or just want to dance for health, self esteem, or fun. Each individual is evaluated for placement by technical level and age to ensure they progress to the best of their ability.
THE FACILITY

BACKSTAGE II is a. state-of-the art facility designed and built for the art of dance. Our classrooms have "floating" and "sprung" dance floors. These are raised floors on staggered sleepers on rubber pads which allow the floor to flex and rebound and absorb impacts. This means students can dance longer with less stress and fatigue and have less risk of injury.
Every studio has one-way viewing windows so parents can watch,
and the students can concentrate on their classes
All studios are separated with soundproofing walls, so
students are not distracted by another class’ music.
All A/C – Heating units have fresh air ports to help renew
the air, reducing the chance of students passing illnesses to one another.
Comfortable lobby with sofas, tables, chairs, TV, vendors and microwave
Private parking lot and unlimited street parking
